Crown Chakra

     The Crown Chakra is all about freedom.  Here you become enlightened and fully aware.  There is only love, purity and gratefulness.  You let go of all those beliefs that bound you and are left with only truth.  
     The major work in this chakra is letting go of ego.  This is the biggest block to freedom.  Ego is an illusion.  The walls the ego builds around a person only serve to keep you feeling separate and alone.  In the Crown Chakra you can tear down these imaginary walls, dissolve rigid belief systems, and let your energy flow.  You become one with God (spirit, goddess), and all there is.  There is nothing to separate you, no feelings of greater or lesser, no shame, no jealousy.  There is only love. 
     The Crown Chakra governs the central nervous system and the pituitary and pineal glands. These three parts of the physical body direct major systems and processes that make life possible.  A well-functioning Crown Chakra ensures that the proper energy/information reaches these parts of the body, and keeps them functioning optimally. 

Questions for the Crown Chakra
1. Spend a day practicing non-judgment of people.  How long can you go without thinking someone is unfair or an idiot?...when you listen to the news, or on your drive to work?
2. Have you ever felt totally free of stress, anger, fear, and/or hate?  Would you like to, or do you like to experience strong emotions?
3. Is it important to you to feel more important than others?  Is your ego, your perception of who you are - and the you you want others to see, the most important thing you work to maintain?
